This policy explains how Welsh Wellness and Counseling (“I,” “me”) handles information you share through this website. It covers the website only. Once you become a client, your health information is protected under HIPAA and described in the Notice of Privacy Practices you receive at intake.
Information You Give Me
When you use the contact form, I receive the details you enter: your name, email address, phone number, contact and session preferences, insurance provider (if you list one), and your message. I use this information only to respond to you and to discuss whether we're a good fit.
Please Keep It Brief
The contact form is delivered to me by email, and email is not a fully secure channel. Please don't include detailed medical or mental health history. We can talk about that privately once we're connected. The form is not monitored for emergencies. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 or go to your nearest emergency room.
Service Providers
This website is hosted by Vercel, and contact form messages are delivered by the email service Resend. These providers process data on my behalf to run the site and deliver messages. Like most websites, the hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) for security and reliability.
What I Don't Do
- I don't sell or rent your information.
- I don't use your information for advertising or share it with third parties for their own purposes.
- This site doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies.
Links to Other Sites
This site links to services such as Psychology Today, Facebook, and Instagram. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.
